Which Xero shoes are right for you?
| Mary & Georgi - Roam Barefoot
Xero has a huge range of shoes, and it can be really hard to narrow it down, we totally get it!
These are all of our top picks for various activities, not just from our experience but from hundreds of customers who have loved Xero styles for their fit, function and classic style.
I want to run
- HFS II: Xero's road running shoe. One customer ran nearly 1,000km in her first pair, then ordered a second. (More on her experience in a future email)
- Mesa Trail II: the trail version. "Great to walk, hike and run."
I want one shoe for the gym, sport and everything else
- Prio: Xero's all-rounder and wider than many of their other styles. Lisa uses hers for HIIT, trail walking, dancing "and as a cool and comfy plain black sneaker" (side note: Georgi didn’t think Xero suited her wide feet with bunions until she tried the 360 and then Prio, but they are both a great fit for her). Prio also comes in Big Kids and Little Kids sizes.
- 360 Rally: a barefoot court shoe for cross training, pickleball, tennis, the gym, or anything with a lot of side-to-side movement.
I want an everyday sneaker
-
Wynn: retro styling inspired by Xero's best-selling running shoes. Casual, comfortable, easy to wear with anything and nearly sold out!!!
- Dillon Leather: neutral white or black leather sneakers that go with everything, and are such amazingly soft leather you won’t even know you’re wearing shoes (defs Mary’s most loved pair!)
I want to go hiking
- Scrambler Trail Low WP: a waterproof hiking shoe. Sturdy with a great grippy sole, awesome even just for walking the dog in wet grass! Gillian found the Scrambler roomy enough for her bunions.
- Scrambler Trail Mid WP: the same in a waterproof hiking boot, for when you want no wet socks, more ankle coverage and a great technical boot.
I want sandals for summer
- Z-Trail EV: sporty sandals with a very flexible sole and great ground feel. "Similar vibe to Tevas," according to one customer, who now wears them everywhere.
- Z-Trek: packable, barely-there travel sandals. Perfect for the backpack.
- Genesis: Xero's simplest, most minimalist sandal, like being barefoot. Travel, walking, yoga, paddling, you name it.
I want boots
- Breckenridge: women’s leather lace-up boots that go from jeans to dressed up.
-
Gracie: barefoot gumboots, and our customers LOVE them. "Best gumboots ever! so happy to ditch the heel." Worn to work with a dress, on the farm and in the mud.
An important note about the Gracie gumboots… We’ve sadly been informed they are not making any more of these!! So what’s left is what’s left - grab them while you still can. These have been one of our all-time bestsellers out of everything we stock, and we’ll be sad to see them go.
Two sizing tips for Xero
- Xero comes in US sizes, with half sizes for nearly all styles except sandals and Gracie gumboots. Measure your feet and use the size chart rather than converting from your usual size.
- If you are a woman with wide feet, the men's version of some styles gives you a little extra room. A few of our customers do exactly this. Ask us which styles it works for.
And if you're still stuck, contact us with what you'll wear them for and your foot measurements. We'll send back our picks.
